KineCount

Camera-based workout tracking for iPhone.

What KineCount does

Privacy by default

The core workout experience works entirely on-device with no account required. Camera frames and pose landmarks are processed on-device and discarded immediately — nothing is ever stored or transmitted.

Optional features (cloud sync, leaderboard, App Limits) are explicit opt-in. None are enabled by default. KineCount has no analytics, no ads, no payments, and no Apple Health integration.

Optional features

Leaderboard (opt-in)
Share your weekly Push-up count and 5 Star Road progress with a public nickname you choose. Sign in with Apple is required — zero scopes are requested (no email or real name accessed). Only your public nickname and aggregate score are visible to other users. Body metrics and all other personal data are never on the leaderboard. You can leave the leaderboard and delete your account at any time.

Cloud sync (opt-in)
Keeps your workout history, profile, and progress synced to your own account in the developer’s secure infrastructure. Your data is protected by row-level security — you can only access your own data. Sign in with Apple is required. Camera frames, pose landmarks, Screen Time data, and app selection are never synced.

App Limits (opt-in)
Spend earned workout minutes to temporarily unlock selected apps through Screen Time access. See the section below for full details.

App Limits

KineCount may request Screen Time access so the user can select apps and use the optional App Limits feature. The user selects individual apps, earns minutes through workout sessions, and can spend those minutes to temporarily unlock the selected apps.

Category-only blocking is not supported in the current version. KineCount does not know which apps the user actually opens, when, or for how long. The app selection is stored locally on the device only and is never transmitted.
